This unique project involved merging two neighbouring properties to create one spectacular family home.
Broseley was approached after unsatisfactory results from two previous contractors. Close collaboration with the owners and Interior Designers, Nelson Design, allowed for the two houses to be seamlessly integrated to cater for the growing family.
The work conducted by Broseley included joining one room from each house to create an elegant and spacious kitchen. A large island became the central feature, which was assembled from apple wood book matched veneer and finished with a Corian top. We utilised large windows for optimal light, providing an airy and open space with access to the delightful garden. An inner wall was converted into a double-sided fireplace, creating a striking divide between the dining and sitting rooms.
The first floor was transformed into a stunning master suite, complete with a walk-through dressing room. Our collaboration with the family throughout the project is particularly noticeable in the children’s bedrooms, which were designed by the boys themselves.
“After an extensive tender process, my husband and I chose to work with Broseley on our Holland Park house refurbishment. The project entailed merging two properties in two different buildings to form one family home. We chose Broseley because they saw possibilities where others saw roadblocks and extra costs. Broseley delivered a beautiful, seamlessly integrated house, which has become our home. They were enthusiastic, reliable, solution orientated and, most importantly, nice people. We highly recommend them.”– Brenda Irani, client
