Rule Brothers – A new collection of bespoke, made to order furniture.
The new Rule Brothers collection of furniture is designed by Leo Vaughan Williams, who having been immersed in the world of furniture and works of art for over 25 years, felt it was a natural progression to create his own designs. The furniture is made by some of the finest craftsmen in England, many of whom Leo has known since his days at Christies. The designs are influenced by his love of early 19th century Decorative Arts, and the works of Soane and Hope, but pared down to create a studied, elegant and modern look.
Each piece of furniture, and beech frames for the sofas and chairs are built by hand in England, by specialist craftsmen and women. Everything is made to order in a variety of timbers and finishes – which Leo is happy to advise on. He also advises his clients on very specific interiors, specialising in libraries, dressing rooms and bars.

“Leo shares my passion for furniture and works of art, particularly of the Regency Period. Seldom failing to surprise with his stylish and often irreverent take on the art world. I’m thrilled that he now brings his specialist knowledge and considerable flair to the world of design”. Philip Hewat-Jaboor FSA Chairman of Masterpiece.
