KLC is a leading design school in London, founded by Jenny Gibbs in 1982. Its differentiation is its strong focus towards a career, not just a hobby, and it equips all its students to go boldly forward to a working world with professional skills and academic qualifications.
The teaching at KLC ensures not only a spirit of creativity and innovation but also provides practical and hands-on know-how, provided by highly qualified and experienced staff as well as many contributory industry guest lecturers, supported by workshop, gallery and site visits. The courses combine time-honoured methods with the latest technology and introduces new ideas and developments plus a wealth of contacts.
Every month or so, Broseley is delighted to welcome groups of students to a particular site that we feel is appropriate to the stage of their course. Our senior site managers lead a guided tour and students often return to see further developments.
KLC has an extensive network of industry contacts and, being based at Chelsea Harbour, it also has close proximity to the design and interiors community. And when the student has successfully completed the course they are provided with unprecedented access to practicing professionals through KLC’s proactive career services.
At almost every design orientated exhibition, show or event in the UK, KLC is likely to be there as a key participant and we are delighted to lend them a hard hat, and our support!
