J D Beardmore was established over 150 years ago, as a general ironmonger in Cleveland Street, London. Their showrooms are now based in the Fulham Road, and Beardmore are world famous for being at the forefront of British design, and the industry’s leading innovator in the production of new and exciting door furniture. Hand crafted in England. Beardmore door furniture, decorative grilles and electrical fittings grace the grandest public buildings and finest homes in Britain as well as prestigious homes all over the world – Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament, the Orient Express, the penthouses at One Hyde Park to name a few.
Every piece is hand made and finished in their dedicated foundry on the Sussex coast. Beardmore also offer a full bespoke service and can make any product to fit an individual specification including design, materials and finish.
Beardmore recently uncovered an extraordinary lost library of ironmongery patterns spanning almost two centuries of the companies design archives. More than just a reference document, a number of these original designs from the Beardmore Anthology have already been revived.

As a member of the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers, Beardmore offers architects, specifiers and interior designers an assurance of quality and professionalism.
